By Air
There are four airports within easy reach of Villa Tamerza, which is situated about 2 miles from the centre of Bagneres de Bigorre. UK airlines fly mostly to either Toulouse or Biarritz, which are both about 1hr 20mins drive from Bagneres. Other options are the airports at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrenees or Pau-Uzein - both are about 30mins drive from Bagneres. One UK operator flies to Tarbes-Lourdes from Gatwick between April and October.

Fly-Off have cheap flights with leading carriers to Toulouse. Ryanair fly to Biarritz from Stanstead but aren't any cheaper when you add in all their extra taxes etc. If you're travelling from London the best options are BA or EasyJet who normally run 3 flights each way, per day and return prices are from £40 - and they're not fussy about skis and bikes or heavy luggage like Ryanair !! Get real Mr O'Leary !

Coming from the UK, the best route from Calais is the A-16 to Paris, then the A-10 to Orleans, followed by the A-20 all the way down to Toulouse, where you join the A-64 for the last hour or so of the journey. Allow about 9 to 10 hours for the drive from Calais to Bagneres. Alternatively you can take the A-10 from Paris to Bordeaux, followed by the N-10 to Bayonne, where you join the other end of the A-64 to approach Bagneres from the west.
